Designed For

New Jersey employment law affects anyone with 2 or more employees. All CPAs in New Jersey can benefit from this program.

Highlights

Over the past year, New Jersey has enacted several new employment laws and amendments that can have a drastic impact on employers and their bottom line. While extending rights and protections to a company’s workforce, many of these laws can also affect an employer’s finances.

This program will provide an overview of the following New Jersey laws:
  • Wage Theft
  • Equal Pay
  • Salary History Inquiry Ban
  • Minimum Wage
  • Paid Sick Leave
In addition, there will be an update on proposed amendments to the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime exemptions.
