Terri Jane Freedman brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate and individual bankruptcy, commercial litigation and distressed transactions – representing debtors, creditor committees, landlords, trustees, shareholders and secured creditors in Federal bankruptcy court and state court liquidations. She has also analyzed, negotiated and drafted transactional documents including contracts, security interests, mortgages, UCC liens and related instruments. An advisor to entities ranging from multimillion-dollar corporations to smaller businesses and individuals, Terri takes pride in developing cost-effective strategies to meet each case’s specific needs and employs a range of options – including negotiation, mediation and litigation – to achieve favorable client results. She has litigated in both New Jersey state courts and Federal courts, and has appeared in Bankruptcy Courts throughout the United States. Terri received her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and her B.A. cum laude from Muhlenberg College where she was a member of Phi Sigma Tau, an international philosophy honor society.
