INSTRUCTORS

Daniel Bradley

Daniel W. Bradley, CPA

Dan Bradley is a principal with the regional certified public accounting firm of Young, Oakes, Brown & Co. P.C. in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience in performing audits of for-profit as well as governmental and not-for-profit organizations subject to the Single Audit Act and OMB Circular A-133. In addition, he has extensive experience dealing with entities (governmental units, not-for-profit organizations, and for-profit organizations) subject to the requirements of Government Auditing Standards. Dan holds a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with highest distinction.

Mr. Bradley is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Institute of Management Accountants. He is also a long time member of the PICPA’s Local Government Accounting and Auditing Committee. As of June 1, 2007, Mr. Bradley was elected to the PICPA’s Ethics Committee. Mr. Bradley has also served as past president of his IMA chapter, as well as serving as a member of the Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania Economy League. Mr. Bradley was a past President of the Altoona Chapter of the American Business Club as well as being a member of his local March of Dimes board.

In addition, Mr. Bradley has previously been an adjunct associate professor at Saint Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania where he is a past recipient of the Continuing Education’s Instructor of the Year Award. Mr. Bradley has been a frequent speaker and panelist on various governmental and not-for-profit programs for the AICPA, numerous state societies, the St. Francis College’s CPE Department, and numerous local entities. Mr. Bradley is a multi-year recipient of the AICPA’s Outstanding Facilitator Award.

John Kilroy

John Kilroy, CPA, CFP

John Kilroy is a managing member of iValue Financial Planning LLC, located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. John engages clients in financial and tax planning, as well as preparing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. John is a CPA and a CFP® practitioner. He is a 1979 graduate of Villanova University with a BS in Accounting. John is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Within the FPA, John has served as a board member of the Philadelphia Tri-State chapter and on its education and finance committees. John is an adjunct faculty member for the Temple University Certificate of Financial Planning Program. He is a frequent speaker and facilitator on tax and financial planning topics. John has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch.com, and USATODAY.com. He has written for the Journal of Financial Planning, and is a contributor to Retirement Weekly. John has also discussed financial and tax planning issues on various radio outlets.

Clare Levison, CPA, CGMA, is the owner of Inspired Responsibility, a consulting company dedicated to delivering continuing education via positive messages and meaningful content that inspires change. 

Clare has more than 20 years of aerospace and defense industry experience, combined with over a decade of creating content and teaching ethics for the Virginia Society of CPAs. She is a fervent financial literacy advocate and the author of “Frugal Isn’t Cheap: Spend Less, Save More, and Live Better.” Clare has appeared on major radio and television networks across the country discussing personal finance and has been a contributor to numerous publications including Family Circle, Fox Business, Glamour, Kiplinger’s, Redbook, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and U.S. News & World Report.

Clare serves as a national financial literacy spokesperson on the AICPA’s Consumer Financial Education Advocates group. She has also served as a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs Board of Directors.

Jeffrey Lieman

Jeffrey Lieman, CPA

Jeffrey heads his own consulting firm, Lieman Associates LLC, in Owings Mills, Maryland, where he provides consulting services, contractual assistance services and training to CPAs, their firms and their clients. He is recognized nationally as a lecturer for various accounting, auditing and technology topics and has been quoted in various trade journals. Since 2016, he has received the Surgent Outstanding Discussion Leader Award. Jeffrey's previous experience included serving as the chief financial examiner for the Maryland Insurance Administration and being a director for Ellin & Tucker, Chartered. He trained staff in many areas of accounting, administration and consulting. He also served as a senior manager and national trainer with KPMG in Baltimore, Maryland, where he developed training materials for staff and instructors. He was elected Chairman of the Year by the Maryland Association of CPAs for chairmanship of the Computer Resources Committee.
