| Justin Deng, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rutgers University–Camden, where he teaches and conducts research on accounting and financial decision-making. He earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from New York University and brings a strong interdisciplinary background that includes engineering, business analysis, and academic research. In addition to his faculty role, Justin serves on the Board of Directors of LAEDA, Inc (Latin American Economic Development Association, Inc.)., where he chairs the Finance Committee and helps oversee the organization's financial strategy and performance.
Justin is passionate about advancing accounting education and preparing students to succeed in a rapidly evolving profession shaped by emerging technologies and changing business needs. His experience spans both academia and practice, giving him a unique perspective on how accounting theory connects to real-world organizational challenges.
