| Max Trezil immigrated to the United States from Haiti in 2006 for better living conditions and to have an opportunity to pursue higher education. Max has over 20 years’ experience, mainly in education and public services. Max spent ten years working in the New York City department of education, as a para-educator and later became a teaching collaborative fellow for the NYC Department of Education.
Max later joined the U.S Commerce Department/Census Bureau, as a Partnership Specialist for the northeastern region. In the United States Census Bureau, Max was mainly responsible for conducting outreach for the 2020 census decennial, planning, developing, and coordinating partnership agreements with federal, state, and local governments, local businesses, and community groups. Max joined the Internal Revenue Service/ Wages and Investment in 2020, his last position was Senior Taxpayer Advisory Specialist.As of November 2023, Max works for the IRS in the Communications and Liaison Division as a Stakeholder Liaison in New York NY. As a Stakeholder Liaison, he seeks to collaborate, inform, and communicate priority outreach messages to all taxpayer communities, including employers, community associations and tax practitioner organizations.
Max is former graduate from CUNY/ The CITY University of New York/ John College of Criminal Justice. He has many interests in life and an incredible passion for living life to its fullest. He is fluent in French, in Haitian Creole and some Spanish. He believes economic opportunity can best be reached through education. Max is trying to enjoy his brief time on earth as humanly possible while serving and contributing to his community as well as making sure to meet the IRS communication and stakeholder liaison strategic goals. |
