Irene Walton serves as Area Vice President in the Affinity Division at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., where she develops insurance programs for associations and professional organizations. She brings more than 40 years of experience helping associations deliver meaningful protection and value to their members.
Walton works closely with professional associations to design insurance programs that address the risks their members face, including professional liability, business coverage and cyber liability. She focuses on creating practical solutions that support both sole practitioners and firms while strengthening member engagement and retention.
She began her career in 1980 with Mather & Co. in Philadelphia and quickly moved into association program management. Walton later became Department Manager of the Association Department and Assistant Vice President of Association Operations, where she helped develop systems to manage association enrollments and benefits programs.
Following the merger of Mather & Co. with Bollinger Insurance in 2006, Walton continued leading association and affinity programs. She joined Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. through acquisition in 2013 and now works with associations nationwide to develop insurance solutions that help members navigate an evolving risk landscape. |  |
