| Jody Rorick, CPA, is the owner of the firm, Jody Rorick, CPA. She started her business 15 years ago and her clientele has since steadily grown by referral and word-of-mouth. Her firm specializes in elder care and daily money management services, which includes sorting and reviewing mail, bill paying, budgeting, setting up files, balancing checkbooks, tracking investments and insurance claim follow-up, as well as assistance with income tax preparation, estate and financial planning, and settling estates. Before becoming a “financial housekeeper,” Ms. Rorick worked at Arthur Young and Company and Citibank. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Women Business Owners and the American Association of Daily Money Managers.
Ms. Rorick has held numerous volunteer positions for the NJSCPA; currently she is on the Financial Literacy Committee and serves as a state-level trustee and as immediate past president of the Monmouth/Ocean Chapter. She is the founder of the chapter’s Elder Care Committee and has formed a “Women’s CPA” group. Ms. Rorick has a bachelor’s in English and an M.B.A. in accounting from the Rutgers School of Management.
