Parag is a tax attorney with the Patel Law Offices in Iselin. His practice concentration is in tax, business transactions and estate planning. He is a board certified estate planning law specialist, a board certified elder law attorney, and a frequent speaker on legal issues affecting tax, offshore tax planning and estate planning. Parag was named a New Jersey Super Lawyer by New Jersey Magazine for tax and estate planning. He has also received an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating System, which is the highest professional rating possible among lawyers. He is the 2011/12 chairman of the Tax Law Committee of American Bar Association’s GP Solo and Small Firm Division. Parag also serves as a part-time municipal court judge for Edison Township. He is a member of the New Jersey State, New York State, Middlesex County and American Bar Associations.

Michael began his career in the financial services industry more than three decades ago. Over the course of time, he has established a broad base of experience in estate planning, financial strategies, and insurance protection. He takes tremendous comfort in knowing his clients are well protected in the face of life's twists and turns. Michael graduated from Boston University with a BS in Communications. Shortly after, he embarked on his career as an insurance agent. Michael had a gift for laying out a strategic roadmap for complex business and personal planning that would protect and serve any family. He has also helped numerous clients with their financial goals through his extensive knowledge of Social Security and the many intricacies of when to take benefits, when to hold off, and how to maximize. Michael lives in Newburgh, New York with his wife, Lori. They are blessed with four children and three grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys the Jersey shore and traveling with his family. He is an avid fan of college basketball, golf, and hiking.
