Finance Managers drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for business units or the whole company. They guide teams of analysts and play a key role in shaping financial decisions that matter.

To grow in this role, focus on sharpening your leadership and people skills. Take the lead on big financial planning projects. Deepen your understanding of corporate finance and strategy. Build strong relationships with executive leaders, and get involved in strategic planning for the whole business.
In the end, you operate as a finance leader—handling planning, forecasting, and making sure the company’s financial strategy turns into action.
