High School Accounting Program Grant

The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) and the NJCPA Scholarship Fund are committed to growing and strengthening high school accounting programs throughout New Jersey. To support this mission, the Fund offers competitive grants to help New Jersey high schools launch or expand initiatives that enhance accounting education.

What does the grant support?

Funding may be requested for specific, student-impact projects such as:

  • Classroom software and technology (e.g., accounting systems, licenses, devices)
  • Textbooks, workbooks or curriculum resources
  • Career exploration activities (e.g., field trips to businesses, guest speakers)
  • Hands-on learning tools (e.g., simulators, case studies, competition fees)
  • Other program needs that directly advance accounting education

What is the grant amount?

Grants of up to $2,000 are available. Grants are limited to one award per school per academic year.

Who is eligible?

New Jersey high schools with active accounting or business education programs are eligible to submit a grant application.

 

KEY DATES:

When are applications due?

There are two application windows:

  • Fall: Sept. 1 to Nov. 30
  • Winter/Spring: Jan. 1 to March 30

When will I be notified about the outcome of my application?

Applicants will be notified within 60 days of submission.
