New Jersey "Phase 1" Tax Filing Extension

Deadline Extended

The New Jersey Division of Taxation has announced that there is an extension for all sales tax and other Phase 1 returns and payments due in July 2025. You will not be charged penalty or interest if you file and pay by midnight on August 1, 2025. 

Visit nj.gov/treasury/taxation/taxportal/index.shtml for more information about extended hotline hours and in-person assistance availability.
