Previously, he spent 14 years in investment and commercial banking. His forensic analysis and litigation support experience includes commercial and matrimonial litigation, asset tracing, bankruptcy, fraud, economic damage assessment and oppressed shareholder engagements.

Roy H. Kvalo, CPA, Director of Litigation & Valuation Services, The Curchin Group, LLC, Red Bank, NJ. He has more than 20 years experience providing forensic accounting services. Mr. Kvalo is responsible for managing all of Curchin’s litigation and valuation engagements from initial contact to final report and/or expert testimony. He has been involved with numerous matrimonial, commercial litigation cases as well as valuations for estate and gift tax and buy-sell agreements. He has served as a court appointed expert in Monmouth County and has provided expert testimony in matrimonial engagements. Mr. Kvalo has also provided court room consultation in federal court to defense counsel during criminal proceedings. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New Jersey Society of CPAs. He serves as vice president of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey. Mr. Kvalo earned a B.A. in accounting from Rutgers University.

His industry experience includes serving as the Executive Director of a national division of Private Wealth Consultants at UBS Financial Services. Douglas J LyonsThis group provided advice to clients on issues including asset allocation, investment strategy, estate and retirement planning. Mr. Lyons was also a member of Merrill Lynch’s private wealth financial planning team where he provided sophisticated planning strategies for families, corporate executives and business owners.

Mr. Lyons has demonstrated his commitment to his profession by earning the financial industry’s top two credentials: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®). He has also earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ (CDFA®), making him uniquely qualified to work with those impacted by divorce.

Mr. Lyons lives with his wife and raised his two children in the beautiful shore town of Bay Head, New Jersey for the last 25 years. He is a Councilmember in his home town for the last five years. Mr. Lyons serves as a volunteer for Ocean Medical Center’s largest fund raiser. He is a member of the Government Relations committee of the NJ Financial Planning Association that is fighting for financial literacy in NJ schools. Mr. Lyons is also a private wealth committee member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts and CFA Institute member. He serves as an adjunct professor of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Certified Financial Planning program.
