Michael I. Lurie is part of Reed Smith’s State Tax Group in Philadelphia. Mike focuses his practice on Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey taxes, and unclaimed property. Mr. Lurie represents clients in a wide variety of industries in state tax return positions, audits, administrative appeals, and litigation. Mr. Lurie is the co-author of articles on Pennsylvania’s sales factor sourcing and the constitutionality of state “tax haven” statutes.

Robert E. Weyman is counsel in the State Tax Group at Reed Smith. Mr. Weyman assists clients with income, sales, and gross receipts tax issues around the country. His practice includes state tax return position evaluation, audit defense, administrative appeals, and litigation.Mr. Weyman is a frequent writer and speaker on a wide range of state tax issues, and has presented at COST, TEI and other industry conferences. Rob also co-leads Reed Smith’s Massachusetts state tax practice and is a member of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts Tax Committee.
