Ralph Albert Thomas, CPA (DC), CGMA, CEO and executive director of the New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJCPA), was awarded the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey’s (AACCNJ) 2021 Business Award. It will be presented at the AACCNJ’s Eleventh Annual Circle of Achievement Virtual Awards Gala on Feb. 11.
The award recognizes a distinguished group of African Americans who have attained a significant level of accomplishment in business, politics, education, sports and/or entertainment. Those honored with Ralph for the 2021 “Responding to the Call” event include Ralph Weaver, founder and CEO of West Connection; Alison Banks-Moore, chief diversity officer of Horizon BCBSNJ; and Jackie Joyner-Kersee, three-time Olympic gold medalist, silver medalist and two-time bronze medalist.
