During this session, a licensed therapist will provide both education and practical solutions to assist in coping with the COVID-19 pandemic from a mental health perspective. This includes general mental health information regarding the natural brain responses to the current circumstances, signs and symptoms of distress, stress management techniques, building resilience and coping with working from home.

    Julie Killion, MA, LCMHC, LCAS, NCC

    Julie Killion earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and National Certified Counselor. Julie has experience working in crisis, outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings treating both adults and children. Julie currently treats adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and adjustment disorders in her (telehealth) practice in North Carolina.
