Do you have a relationship with a the New Jersey lawmaker? If so, please sign up to be an NJCPA Keyperson. It’s critically important! We need close relationships with legislators to achieve our advocacy goals. Once a year or less we’ll ask you to communicate the Society’s position on an issue to the lawmaker you know. You don’t need to be an expert on the issue. We will provide you with talking points, sample letters or whatever you’ll need to briefly let the lawmaker know how the profession feels about a particular issue.
