WELCOME TO OUR NEW SITE!

Welcome the NJCPA’s new website! This page provides a brief overview of new features and how they will improve your experience. We hope you like it.

Fresh New Site: Design, Navigation and Mobile-Responsive

There’s a fresh new look and feel to the website and new navigation to make things easier to find. You’ll also have a better experience when browsing the site from mobile devices.

Keep Me Logged In

This new feature (for members and nonmembers with web user accounts) lets you remain logged into the website. It helps us enable another new website feature, personalized content and events.

Personalized Content and Events

We’re now able to deliver a more tailored experience. If you are a member or a nonmember with a web user account, your experience just got more personal. The site can now deliver personalized content and events based on your areas of interest and other demographics. Here’s what you will experience:

  • Homepage with personalized content and events
  • Recommended events in the My Events section of your account
  • Additional personalized content in the My Content section of your account

There are two steps you need to take to use this feature:

  • If you haven’t done so, go to My Profile and choose/update your Areas of Interest.
  • Make sure you are logged into the NJCPA.org site. Use Keep Me Logged In if you want added convenience.

Improved Site Search

You’ll notice some improvements with site search, which is available from the top of every page of the site. It’s more visually pleasing, and it uses the same formatting style to display events results as the event search tool, so your experience is consistent. While we recommend that you use the event search tool if you want access our complete list of events, full event search capabilities and robust filters, it’s always convenient to have the ability to search for content, web pages and events within the same search.

    Event Search Enhancements

    • CPE Quick Search. Search for events right from the homepage with a new quick search tool that lets you search by date, zip code radius and keyword or event code.
    • Event Search. Enhancements to the full event search tool include:
      • New search filters for zip code and mileage radius along with ‘use my current location’
      • ‘You’ve Selected’ confirmation presents a summary of the search criteria selected and allows you to add/remove filters and adjust your search
    • Event Search Results. Results have been enhanced to provide the following:
      • Brief event descriptions in the results listing, so you don’t have to click through to get an overview.
      • If an event is offered in multiple formats, you’ll be able to see both options in the results listing.
      • Distance from zip code, if zip code was used in search criteria
      • View and sort options – number of results per page; sort by date, title, credits (ascending/descending) and distance

    Member Benefits Marketplace

Member benefits can now be found under Use Resources. In response to ongoing member feedback that told us it was hard for members to get a handle on and take advantage of the range of benefits and resources that membership in the Society provided, we’ve organized all resources that are available — from the NJCPA and from our member benefits partners — and organized them for different audiences.

    Use Resources

Are You an NJCPA Volunteer Leader? There is a new location for your resources. You’ll now access Leader Resources directly from the user menu when you're logged in. As a reminder, the Leader Resources area provides all the tools and resources you need such as talking points, policies, reports, manuals, events calendar and planning resources, and volunteer committee reviews.

    Other Updates

    • User Menu. You’ll notice some minor changes to terminology in the user menu, which you access in the upper right corner of the site once you’re logged in.
    • My Events Updates. CPE Tracker is accessed from the My CPE item on the user menu. A new tab, Recommended Events, has been added to My Events. This tab provides recommendations for events that match your areas of interest.
    • My Content. You’ll notice that we incorporated the new styling into My Content. We’ve also integrated all of the content into a single location, so you no longer need to jump between tabs to read all your recommended content.
