Arthur A. DiPadova, J.D., LL.M., is a shareholder in the firm Kulzer & DiPadova, P.A. He earned his J.D. degree at the Rutgers University School of Law, where he graduated with honors. He earned his LL.M. in Taxation at New York University. Mr. DiPadova is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, is a member of the Bars of the State of New Jersey and is a frequent speaker to business and professional groups in the area of taxation and estate planning. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a former Chairman of the Camden County Bar Association's Section of Taxation, Past President of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey, Immediate Past President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals – South Jersey Chapter, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association. Mr. DiPadova's particular areas of expertise include estate, partnership and real estate taxation.

Jacob Foy supervises the New Jersey Division of Taxation’s Education & Outreach Unit. Jacob started with the Division sixteen years ago in the Customer Service Center and has worked for the Problem Resolution Unit and the Taxpayer Service Walk-In Center. He was most recently a Case Advocate with the Division’s Office of the Taxpayer Advocate (OTA) where he spent three years providing assistance to resolve ongoing taxpayer problems and disputed state tax issues. His experience with Sales Tax, Employer Responsibilities, Income Tax and Property Tax Relief Programs has placed him in leadership of the Education & Outreach Unit, where he focuses on educating Division staff and the public to better understand New Jersey tax responsibilities.

Briele Haas

Briele N. Haas, J.D., LL.M.

Mrs. Haas is an associate with Kulzer & DiPadova She earned her J.D. at Rutgers School of Law, Camden, New Jersey and her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. While at Rutgers, Mrs. Haas served as an Associate Research and Writing Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and served as Chair of the Recruitment Committee for Rutgers University’s Wills for Heroes program. Mrs. Haas earned her Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation with Distinction in 2015 from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA, where she also received an Estate Planning certificate. Mrs. Haas is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey.

Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Haas interned in the New Jersey Tax Court for the Honorable Patrick DeAlmeida, interned in the Gloucester County Family Court with the Honorable Mary K. White and interned at the House of Representatives with Congressman Frank LoBiondo.

Glenn is a shareholder of Kulzer & DiPadova, PA, specializing in complex estate planning; tax-exempt organizations; and probate, trust and estate law. He is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and is a member of the Bars of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Glenn is the author of publications for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. In 2009, he was awarded the Alfred C. Clapp Award for Excellence in Continuing Legal Education from the NJICLE. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel; past chair of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section; and an officer of the Taxation Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association. He was a trustee and co-chair of the Probate and Trust Committee of the Camden County Bar Association. He is a past president of the Trust Counselors Network and of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey. He is a member of the NJCPA, a past president of its Southwest Chapter, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He was named one of the 100 Top Super Lawyers in New Jersey and Best Lawyers in America.

William Malkin

Bill supervises Taxation University, a team of tax specialists and instructors within the New Jersey Division of Taxation. Bill started with the Division in 2005 as a Call Center agent. Prior to that, he was a public school social studies teacher.

For nearly fourteen years, Bill worked his way through the Division’s Call Center. First as an agent, then in the Assistance and Resolution Unit where he handled calls from the tax practitioner community and eventually as a team leader.

Bill’s experience on the “front lines” educating the public and his prior experience as a teacher made him a natural fit to take over as leader of Taxation University, where he strives to uphold the excellent reputation of Taxation University while furthering goals of fostering voluntary compliance by making tax law education an engaging or even fun process.

Bill is an amateur filmmaker and has written and starred in a number of short films. He is also the founder of a charity group based on the movie Ghostbusters.

Kristin Schmid

Ms. Schmid earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law specializing in Corporate Law, and earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Political Science and Economics. Ms. Schmid is currently pursuing her Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Schmid was a Senior Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she specialized in Mergers and Acquisitions. While at PwC, Ms. Schmid handled the federal tax implications of complex merger and acquisition transactions involving Fortune 500 corporations. Her experience includes spin-offs, carve outs, liquidations, taxable transactions, and non-recognition transaction
