At the NJCPA Career Night you’ll meet more than 30 recruiters working in public accounting, private industry and government. This is a prime opportunity to grow your web of job search contacts, learn more about the companies that interest you and practice your interviewing skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend helpful brief presentations on preparing a compelling elevator pitch and preparing for the CPA exam.

NJCPA Student Members and CPA Candidate Members attend Career Night for FREE.
Nonmember Student pay $20.
However, nonmember students can complete a FREE Student Application before registering for Career Night to attend for FREE.
Nonmember CPA Candidates pay $20. This fee can be applied to the $95 CPA Candidate membership fee if you sign up as a member before or at Career Night (instructions will be included with your registration confirmation).
HIGHLIGHTS
This event is beneficial for students and CPA candidates who are seeking internships or entry-level positions.
What You Need to Know:
- Wear business attire (for men: business suit or blazer, tie and dress slacks; for women: business dress and jacket or pantsuit).
- Bring at least 30 copies of your resume to distribute.
- Bring a notepad and pen (preferably a portfolio notepad).
- Research the companies ahead of the event.

Career Night will also feature two short information sessions including:
- How to develop and deliver your “elevator pitch” to recruiters and hiring managers
- Panel discussion with representatives from Becker, Roger and Surgent CPA exam course providers on how to prepare for the CPA exam.
This is a free event. Registration is required. Information sessions are included in registration.
