Nominations Open for New Jersey Society of CPAs’ Ovation Awards Honoring Accounting Superstars
— Seven Categories of Awards to Enter —
ROSELAND, N.J. – The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) is accepting nominations for its Ovation Awards, which honor accounting superstars from industry, private and public practice, academia and the community. The seven categories of awards include: Emerging Leaders; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Innovation; Exceptional Educators; Women to Watch; Impact; and Lifetime Leader.
The NJCPA’s annual awards program seeks to recognize those individuals who have worked tirelessly to raise the standards of excellence in accounting; inform, educate and/or mentor new entrants to the profession; engage future leaders; keep the profession open and diverse; and further the success of female CPAs.
“The Ovation awards not only thank individuals for what they have done in the profession but we hope to encourage them to keep on innovating, sharing and moving the profession forward,” said Ralph Albert Thomas, CPA (DC), CGMA, CEO and executive director at NJCPA. “Many of our members routinely give of their time to their communities, to schools, to charity events and to the NJCPA.”
Nominations are being accepted until Friday, May 1. Multiple entries are allowed, as are self-nominations. Winners will be announced on June 17 at the NJCPA Annual Convention & Expo in Atlantic City.
