Nearly 1,000 business leaders recently gathered at the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce’s ReNew Jersey Business Summit to discuss the business climate in New Jersey and how to make it more competitive and attractive. Chamber President Tom Bracken shares the biggest takeaways and also discusses the business community’s reaction to Governor Murphy’s proposed 2.5% corporate transit fee.

Tom Bracken

Thomas A. Bracken became the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce’s president and CEO in February 2011. He previously spent 40 years in the banking and financial services industry, serving as president of TriState Capital Bank's New Jersey operation from 2008 to 2011. He is a former chairman of the Economic Development Corporation of Trenton and of the New Jersey Bankers Association.
