OVERVIEW

The next Practitioner's Forum will feature Marty Wolfson. Marty worked with the IRS for 35 years and retired as a Senior Manager in the Small Business/Self-Employed Division. He will be giving a presentation on The ABCs of Payment Plans and Offers in Compromise.

Martin Wolfson

Retired from IRS 2009

Martin Wolfson is a former agent with the Internal Revenue Service with over 35 years of experience. He retired from the IRS as a Senior Manager in the Small Business/Self-Employed Division. In his role as Senior Manager, Mr. Wolfson supervised nine Collection Field Groups located in Northern New Jersey and Northeast Pennsylvania. From 2000 to 2004 his areas of responsibility included both Field Compliance Collection and Exam groups. Prior to that, Mr. Wolfson had been a Territory Manager under the new organization, Collection Group Manager, Chief of the Automated Collection System and a Collection Field Branch Chief. He graduated from Rutgers University and shortly thereafter began his career with the Internal Revenue Service.
