HIGHLIGHTS

Save Time in Excel/Making Financial Data Actionable
Marc D. Mintz, CPA, CITP, CGMA - Marc Mintz & Associates, LLC Technology Consultants
Regardless of your skill level everyone can benefit by learning to use the ubiquitous Excel spreadsheet in a more efficient manner. During this 50 minute webinar you will learn time saving techniques including: program customization, macros, data formatting, keyboard short cuts, data analysis, application add-ins and saving time with formulas.

As Internet based accounting grows so does our ability to collect data. This data only becomes meaningful if we are able to monitor it regularly and compare it to prior periods, budgets or industry standards. During this presentation, you will learn about several reporting applications that allow CPAs to efficiently retrieve and integrate financial data which can then be used to provide clients with actionable advice through dynamic reports, dashboards and visual indicators.

Cybercrime and Business Continuity
Fred Holzsager - Holzsager Technology Services, LLC
In 2015, the IRS held a Security Summit and drafted its Publication 4557 establishing guidelines for those that process Taxpayer Information. In this presentation, you will not only learn about their requirements, but will also:

  • LEARN at least FIVE ways to get your business in compliance with the IRS Checklists.
  • DISCOVER that following the checklist is ACTUALLY BENEFICIAL to your firm.
  • IDENTIFY ways that using some simple techniques can SAVE YOU MONEY.
  • REDUCE RISK for your firm overall and INCREASE YOUR CLIENT RETENTION through documenting your stability and resilience.
  • ENHANCE your office’s level of productivity through modest changes in your infrastructure.
This session will be led by Fred Holzsager, IT Director of Holzsager Technology Services, a local provider of Managed Services and Network Support in Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, and Morris Counties. Helping small business owners to make the most of their technology for over fifteen years.
