From 2016 to 2018, Kimberly served as the 104th chairman of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), where she received numerous awards and recognition. Notably, she was the youngest person, fifth woman, and first person of color to serve as chairman in the AICPA’s 130-year history. Assemblyman Lou Greenwald has represented New Jersey’s 6th Legislative District since 1996. He currently serves as the Assembly Majority Leader. During his service in the General Assembly, Majority Leader Greenwald has compiled a significant legislative record. As Majority Leader, he led the fight to provide 95% of New Jersey families with up to $2,000 in property tax relief credits--the kind of tax relief our state's middle class families and senior citizens desperately need. Although Governor Christie vetoed this plan, Majority Leader Greenwald remains at the forefront of fighting to fundamentally reform New Jersey's property tax crisis in a way that lowers property tax burdens and provides real relief to families. Majority Leader Greenwald is a key leader in the fight to restore voting rights to New Jersey citizens. As the sponsor of the Democracy Act, a piece of legislation that would bring New Jersey’s outdated voting laws into the 21st century, Majority Leader Greenwald works address outdated voting laws. This package of measures would encourage voter participation by expanding early voting opportunities, online voter registration, and automatic voter registration at Motor Vehicle Commission offices. He graduated from Moravian College in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and went on to earn a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1992. Later that year, he was admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He works as an attorney in Voorhees.

Alex Heil, PhD, is a Senior Economist at The Conference Board. An applied economist, he has more than 20 years of experience in the energy, environment and infrastructure space. His work is centered on the energy transition, renewable energy resources, urban economics, and how infrastructure and transportation will affect development patterns and economic trends. Before joining the Conference Board, Alex was VP for Research at the Citizens Budget Commission, a think tank focused on the finances and operations of New York City and State governments. Prior to CBC, Alex was the Chief Economist of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. In that role, he analyzed regional economic conditions, conducted regional cost benefit analysis, assessed the regional economic impacts of transportation investments, and undertook economic and financial project evaluations. He also worked as a consultant on energy and utility projects for private and public sector clients as an economist for CDM Smith, Inc. Alex has been a frequent speaker and presenter at conferences and events for commercial real estate, transportation, and financial executives in the Greater New York metropolitan region and nationwide. He holds an engineering degree from Stanford University's d. school where he was introduced to the innovative culture of silicon valley. As a Kleiner Perkins Design Fellow and Mayfield Fellow, he got an early start in entrepreneurship. He began playing the violin when he was 3 years old, was classically trained and studied under the concertmaster of Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra. His music has brought him to perform in venues such as the White House to the Great Wall of China. Today he composes his own music using an innovative style on the violin which blends classical technique with rhythms and textures from popular genres such as hip hop and jazz. He is a member of CohnReznick's Technology and Life Sciences Industry Practice and National Tax Practice and has a background in corporate, partnership and individual tax planning and compliance, including multi-state and international companies. In addition to general accounting, Shaune’s experience in working with small start-up entrepreneurs includes setting up accounting methods, standards and procedures, state registration and employment issues. Shaune has also worked closely with public entities and large public affiliated corporate groups, providing services that include corporate tax compliance, partnership tax compliance, sell-side due diligence for companies and shareholders, and ASC 740 work. Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff served as Treasurer of the State of New Jersey under Governor Chris Christie from January 2010 to July 2015. The longest-serving Treasurer in almost 40 years, Mr. Sidamon-Eristoff oversaw a major State department with almost 3,100 employees and more than 10 divisions spanning budget, revenue collection, public finance and debt management, benefits administration, pension fund investments, Statewide information technology standards and infrastructure, procurement, State facilities, risk management, unclaimed property administration, and the State Lottery. In addition to managing the development and execution of New Jersey’s $30 billion-plus annual budget, Mr. Sidamon-Eristoff played a major role in developing Governor Christie’s landmark 2001 pension and health benefits reforms, designed and implemented Governor Christie’s Performance Budgeting Initiative, drafted Governor’s Christie’s $2.3 billion business tax reduction package of 2011, advanced significant procurement process reforms, managed several major privatization initiatives, restructured the State’s IT governance configuration, and oversaw debt and financial management reforms that achieved $1.9 billion in budget savings and eliminated the State’s exposure to $4.2 billion in risky derivatives.

Mr. Sidamon-Eristoff is currently a private investor. He is also a contributor to NJ Spotlight, an online news service covering New Jersey government and politics; an advisor to GovInvest, Inc., a SaaS startup based in Los Angeles, California; and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Hotchkiss School. He is a former member of the Internal Revenue Service's Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee, a former Chairman of the New York Republican County Committee, and a former trustee of several non-profits including Scenic Hudson, the St. Bernard's School, the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund and the Hudson Highlands Land Trust. Mr. Sidamon-Eristoff is also a former President of the North Eastern States Tax Officials Association and board member of the Federation of Tax Administrators. He earned a bachelor's degree, cum laude, in politics from Princeton University and a juris doctor degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.

He has extensive knowledge and experience in proper Excel design techniques as well as helping CPAs build spreadsheets that are accurate. As a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Bryan has spent a considerable amount of time auditing and validating thousands of Excel spreadsheets. He has developed various data analysis and Microsoft Power BI courses and provides coaching services to various organizations to train and coach staff on proper data analysis techniques.

Bryan, who has a Master of Science in Information Assurance, is a member of the Information System Audit and Control Association and is a past chair of task forces for the Michigan Association of CPAs.

With a career spanning two decades, Heather steadily progressed through the global human resources and payroll company, moving from district sales manager and corporate sales trainer to her current position. Throughout her career with ADP, she has leveraged her expertise in roles that take advantage of her competencies in sales, human resources, benefits administration, talent management and talent acquisition. This encompasses internal associate and leader engagement to drive results, as well as well as a high level of interaction with the accountant community. Heather is sought after nationwide to lead speaking engagements such as interactive workshops to foster attendees’ personal and professional development. She has coached thousands of professionals on improving selling and overall communications skills. She is also a board member of the Hope for Children Foundation.

Ralph Thomas

Ralph is the CEO and executive director of the New Jersey Society of CPAs. He was appointed to AICPA’s National Commission on Diversity and Inclusion and the AICPA Foundation Board. Ralph is a former national and chapter president of the National Association of Black Accountants, was chair of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy’s State Society Relations Committee and is a member of the accounting advisory boards of Lehigh, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Montclair State, Felician and Thomas Edison universities and Middlesex County College. In January 2018, he was invited by Senate President Steve Sweeney to join his bipartisan Economic and Fiscal Policy Working Group. Additionally, Ralph was selected for the last eight years by Accounting Today as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting.”
