Jen Slaw

Jen Slaw

A versatile speaker and entertainer, Ms. Slaw has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, was a featured TEDx presenter, and designs custom presentations and interactive workshops that use juggling to inspire and illustrate creativity, teamwork, balance, achievement, productivity, and being open to new possibilities. She has spoken and conducted staff training and team building workshops for clients ranging from corporations like Bristol-Myers Squibb, Investors Bank, and Starwood Hotels, to organizations like the Association of Small Foundations.

She's won the International Jugglers’ Association’s Three Ball Award for creativity, and has been called an “expert juggler” by the New York Times. She’s juggled with actor Patrick Dempsey on Good Morning America and Captain “Sully” Sullenberger at the Miracle on the Hudson Reunion. She’s performed with the Little Orchestra Society at Lincoln Center, and has even juggled apples and pears on the big screen to promote lingerie at Bloomingdale’s. Other favorite clients include American Express, Delta, Holland America Cruise Lines, F.A.O. Schwarz, NYC Fashion Week, and Cirque du Soleil. She is the co-creator and co-star of the Off-Broadway Backstage 2011 Critic’s Pick, Perfect Catch: A Throw-mantic Comedy.

An experienced instructor, Ms. Slaw teaches juggling and circus arts to students of all ages and levels. She's taught with the Big Apple Circus and National Circus Project, directed her own Summer Circus Arts Camp for youth, conducted residencies at schools that culminate in student performances, run after-school programs in juggling and circus arts, and conducted courses that utilize juggling to promote fitness and brain health for seniors.

She serves as the Executive Director of Juggling Life, Inc, a non-profit with a mission to engage, inspire and emotionally heal ill and disadvantaged children through interactive juggling and circus arts workshops and shows. Young volunteers trained in the circus arts use their skills to engage and empower less fortunate youth in their communities. (www.JugglingLifeInc.org).
