Jeffrey Jacobs

Jeffrey L. Jacobs, CPA, J.D.

Jeffrey Jacobs is a tax attorney, based in Westport, Connecticut, providing tax counsel to individuals and professional practices. In addition to his monthly webinar commentary on Surgent's "Monthly Tax Update," Jeff is the dean of tax training at a major accounting firm. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Pace University and is a frequent contributor of tax-related articles to scholarly and popular journals. Jeff earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He earned a law degree from Pace University, where he was elected to Law Review. A member of the New York State Society of CPAs as well as the American Bar Association's Section of Taxation, Jeff's biography is included in Who's Who in America.
