    What You Need to Know About Health Care Reform in Today's Market
    This course provides an overview of various aspects of the Affordable Care Act (Health Care Reform) with a focus on what it means for you and your clients. We explore trends within the health care marketplace along with specific provisions of the law and their implementation. Other topics include: PPACA employer reporting, ERISA for Health and Welfare plans, Section 125/105 compliance.

John Hodson is the owner and president of True Benefit. He has over 25 years of experience in employee benefits and underwriting. His focus is on strategic health care solutions for companies of all sizes. True Benefit is the program manager for health care benefits for ADP TotalSource, a $1.5 billion plan with close to 300,000 employees. True Benefit is responsible for the overall risk management, client sales and retention, and ADP associate training on topics ranging from underwriting to the Affordable Care Act.

Mr. Hodson holds a BS in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Connecticut.

As an expert in employee benefits and healthcare reform, Mr. Ingalls has served as a guest speaker and industry expert at many events, symposiums and panel discussions across the state. In the same regard, he has contributed to MSN, eHow.com, Entrepreneur Magazine, Crain’s, New York Enterprise Report, National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), The Bergen Record and many other national and local newspapers, magazines and websites.

Chris Vanderwolk is the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Benefit Tax Link. After leaving the military, he worked for two Fortune 500 insurance carriers in a business development role prior to finding his home with Benefit Tax Link. He focuses on helping brokers solve complex problems, and provide clarity to their clients.

Mr. Vanderwolk is fluent in Spanish, and is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist through the International Federation of Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business. In addition, he has been Certified in Flexible Compensation by the ECFC, and is a credentialed Group Disability Benefits Specialist.
